The ESLR is part of the East Anglian Transport Museum at Carlton Colville, near Lowestoft in Suffolk. No.2, I was told, now burns more lubricating oil than diesel due to piston wear. This loco has no air braking so is not used on passenger trains. No.s 5 and 6 are on loan from the Imperial War museum, Duxford and were retrieved from the Dept. of Environment site at Orfordness.
