| Locomotives at the East Suffolk Light Railway taken during visit on 24th September 2006. The ESLR is part of the East Anglian Transport Museum at Carlton Colville, near Lowestoft in Suffolk. No.2, I was told, now burns more lubricating oil than diesel due to piston wear. This loco has no air braking so is not used on passenger trains. No.s 5 and 6 are on loan from the Imperial War museum, Duxford and were retrieved from the Dept. of Environment site at Orfordness. |
